Configuration – Leads
Click the Leads tab to enter this section.
Here is where we summarise each of the customer quote requests that we receive for you. For each quote request, you will see the following fields:
- date that the lead was received
- the unique lead reference number
- date of the event
- town where the event is being held
- a link (URL) where you can retrieve full details (PIN protected)
- a link to request a PIN reminder
When we post details for a new lead, you will receive an email from us containing the PIN code. This will unlock contact details for the customer as well as further information that you need in order to quote. It’s also possible to get these messages sent by SMS text message to stay ahead of the competition (see Money Matters).
FREE listing members are charged for each PIN they need, and lead emails are delayed 24 hours.
Indirect Leads
Sometimes we get quite generic quote requests, usually from people planning events way in advance and often when they haven’t even decided the date or sometimes the venue. More often than not, these people are gathering brochures and ballpark quotes for planning purposes.
Indirect leads are NOT sent to FREE listing members.
Paid listing members can opt out of receiving Indirect leads. Indirect leads do not count towards our Value Pledge, and are not sent by SMS even if this is configured.
