Advertising Terms & Conditions

1. All communication regarding advertising on www.uk-parties.co.uk is to be handled via email to advertising -at- uk-parties.co.uk or
, if available, via the 'Live Chat' icon shown on certain pages of our website.
2. Advertisement placing and content is at the absolute discretion of the site owner at all times and the site owner reserves the right to
refuse or cancel placement as it sees fit. Any paid advertisements subsequently cancelled by the site owner will receive a pro-rated
refund.
3. Costs for various advertising options vary at the site owner's discretion but once an advertisement rate is agreed then annual increases will be limited to a maximum of 5% compound.

5. Advertisers may request amendments (including cancellation) at any time. Two amendments may be conducted per annum free of
charge. The fee for additional amendments is £10 fully inclusive per change. Paid advertisement fees will not be refunded should you
choose to cancel.
6. The site owner makes no guarantees in respect of website availability, hits, clickthrough etc.. uk-parties.co.uk is hosted as a business website with
a reputable UK-based hosting provider with uptimes in excess of 99.5%
7. Advertisements for service providers will be placed in the most appropriate categories. They will be placed on the category page in one of three positions -
Top, Middle and Bottom. In each position, priority will be given to locally based businesses over national & non-local businesses on a per-county basis
, and advertisements will be
listed in chronological order of first placement. Advertisements in the Top section will be paid advertisements. Advertisements in the Middle
section will be those for whom a reciprocal link exists with preference given to advertisers who choose a graphical link.
Advertisements in the Bottom section will be Basic advertisements without a reciprocal link. At the foot of each page much smaller "basics only"
advertisements will be shown for other service providers known to be covering a category/region who have yet to submit a formal advertising
request.

9. Advertising of Party Venues and Function Rooms in the directory is free of charge if you accept that we may add advertisements for other parties at our discretion to not exceed 25% of the page estate. A paid option is available without any advertisement content and discounts are available for chains - the level of discount is dependent upon the number of venues advertised.
10. We reserve the right to cross-reference services listed on our other websites as appropriate.
For example, mobile disco operators may be cross-referenced to venues based on their postcode & suitability to the venue.
11. All advertisements other than "text only" will have a Star Rating and a Reviews tag attached. This allows previous customers to rate various
facets of a service as appropriate and to leave a written review. There are various safeguards in place to avoid abuse - for example prevention of
multiple submissions and the manual moderation of written comments.
12. All payments for paid options are to be made via invoice on 30-day terms; alternatively payment can be made online. Full details will be provided on request or when we receive an advertising request via our online submission forms. Full terms & conditions of payment will be issued with the invoice.
