	The largest function room at Bargemans Rest seats 80 persons. Depending on the venue it may be possible to increase this by combining multiple rooms or erecting a marquee. Most venues will accept smaller parties but there may be a minimum limit or a surcharge involved. Discuss your requirements with the venue directly.

Function Rooms For Hire The Sail Loft A lovely room for smaller parties - 70/80 seated is tight - with separate dancefloor area. Although this venue is upstairs access is straightforward. BE AWARE that the venue requires a special licence if your party finishes after 11pm. The staff are very strict about the finish time! Additionally a sound limiter device is fitted - this means that the disco must operate at a fairly low volume meaning that guests at the very far end of the room often cannot hear the music. It's perfectly fine on the dancefloor though! The Sail Loft is on the 1st floor and accessed via steps or stairs. Restrooms are situated in an adjacent room nearby. There is a bar in the function room. Banqueting Capacity: 80 Informal Event Capacity: 100 Suitable For: Weddings/Civil Partnerships , Private Functions Room has natural light and views of The Quayside and onward into Newport Town Centre across Coppins Bridge This room is NOT suitable for the disabled or infirm If hiring a DJ, we would always recommend asking them if they have DJmark accreditation.
