Almada Street is a large banqueting hall that can cater for a big range of functions from Weddings, Party nights, corporate events and more. The in house lighting and sound equipment is the best of quality and the staff operating it are professional and efficient. I believe it is also very cost effective to hire. Different buffet and meal options are available to suit your budget. One thing I really like is that the bar is at the rear of the room and raised so you can enjoy the entertainment when waiting for a drink, but it is not a large enough area that a lot of your guests might congregate away from the action. Good overall sound and blackout curtains means the ambience is perfect. There are a number of good transport links with Hamilton West train station and a few bus stops within 5 minutes walking distance. There is also large multiple car parks to the rear of the venue.
Small carpark. If setting up during church then it is mobbed and you might need to lug your gear out then park accross the road to stop blocking people in.
Up about half a dozen stairs into the venue then about another half dozen up into the main room (there is an access ramp outside and a disabled lift inside if you have very heavy gear)
Small space in the corner. Right beside the heater which is HOT! If it is on ask for it to be turned down or you will melt. - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: over 4m
