Information on access at Barns HotelAccess to the loading area is extremely tricky and near-impossible in a large vehicle which would require moving equipment from the car park instead - a significant difference. From the actual fire exit doors its only about 5m to the setup area.

Fantastic setting for weddings. Listed building has original exposed beamed interior, and the gardens are perfect for photos.

A great venue for wedding receptions, Danish Camp caters for a wide range of high class functions.

A family run venue and grounds with really beautiful views regardless of your vantage point. Built entirely of wood and raised on stilts, the outdoor restaurant area also doubles up as a function room which is almost enclosed by a marquee.

Information on parking at Rushton Hall HotelPark outside the front door to unload. Then go and park elsewhere in the hotel car park, which is free of charge.
Information on access at Rushton Hall HotelThe staff will open up the fire exit from the cellar bar which opens out into the courtyard. From the unloading area, you need to go through the main doors into the hotel (up a couple of small steps), through another set of doors into the courtyard, then 20 metres or so to the cellar entrance. Access is then down a narrow stone staircase, through 2 fire doors and a 90-degree turn, and then along the entire length of the bar to the setup area. Allow extra time to load and unload.
Information on facilities for entertainers at Rushton Hall HotelThe ceiling is arched and very low (69" maximum, generally less). A brick pillar partially obscures the dance floor from the setup area. If possible, a small lighting stand should be erected away from the setup area so it is visible from the dance floor. The staff will provide a table with a tablecloth to set up on; if this is used, it will eliminate the need for an equipment stand. - width available: 2-3m - height clearance: 2m or less

The staff ask you to take equipment across the decking area and down 5 steps through French doors. In summer this is probably OK but in wet or icy conditions this is pretty lethal.
