How important is your wedding or party entertainment? - in truth, entertainment is probably 80% of more of the success factor in any event, whilst it is often amazingly as little as 5% of the overall event budget. A late ceremony start, a few flowers missing, even an 'average' meal will hardly be noticed or remembered by any of your guests and will be more than made up for with experienced entertainment. Conversely, the most beautiful ceremony, stunning meal, fine wines and charming décor can be ruined by a poor performance.
Be open to different types of musical styles. Most musicians' websites, Facebook pages or YouTube channels will have a sound byte or two. Think about the guests in attendance - particularly those who will stick around until late in the evening - and plan to appeal to their tastes too. Also consider that band members are only human - and will require breaks and refreshments. Think about how you are going to fill the gaps to keep the event flowing during these interruptions. Can other aspects of your wedding or event be used to fill the gaps - the speeches, cake cutting for example, or would it be better to hire a DJ or karaoke host as well?

Graham was great - we would definitely recommend. He was great at all the communication and planning before the event. He helped to mix our first dance song so that we had it to practice to. He played all our requests and called brilliantly on our ceilidh section. He has good ideas on how to structure the evening and he handled the delay to the beginning fo the dancing very well including cancelling his break so that we could have longer to dance. He also created a brilliant video montage of the dancing which is great to have. I would definitely use him again - thanks Graham
